Pignone

This little village belongs to the consortium of communes of the mountain area of the Middle and Low Vara valley and of the Mount Marcello regional Natural Park.

The origins of Pignone date back to 1000 a.C. ; it is formed by the union of many villages which all together create the Pignone and Casale valleys. The local inhabitants are called "the pignonesi".
